Default Wonder if i might trouble some DG's for some advice.

one of my sites has been slowly building quite a user base. giving email addresses etc.

i'd like a way to convert those for advertising. .. add a 'mailing list' .. is there an open source package you can recommend?

Users have already submitted email addresses to your site, I'm pretty sure that is considered "opt-in" -- also, there is no law stating that you need opt-in, only the option to opt-out is needed.

At the least send them a nice looking e-blast/mailer, http://www.campaignmonitor.com/templates/

Eblasts are a nightmare to code, so many different devices/email combinations and tiny lame hacks to know for styling them, so don't deviate to much from the original designs.
